As many of u no .. A lot of games recently have been big disappointments.. i have spent $180
on video games. MW2, avp, and bc2.. none of them are what they should be on pc... where is the mods?? the dedicated severs with good connections?? I feel that if people do not speak up and tell game developers that they need to make games that are worth are hard earned cash that they will keep making this console rip offs.. Is there any way we can do this?? i understand that we are not allowed to talk politics but is there anyway as intelligent pc gamers to say something to pple who can help?? |

If I was Sylvester Stallone I would recommend murder-death-kill. But I'm sure we can just dig up petitions without the mess of slicing up every DRM fanboy and anti-pc video game corp. I agree though, I've started using my PS3 for video games instead of PC because of recent shortcomings. I boycotted MW2 for pc as long as I could but eventually my friends got me to buy it for PS3. |

Nothing you can do dude. They don't care. Even if 30,000 people boycott a game, it is nothing compared to how many people in total have bought it.
All we can do, is try to hack these games and fix them, and upload them to a private server |

| I enjoyed MW2, on console. BFBC2 seems to be okay but not super. PC gaming isn't what it used to be, but it's not horrible either. On the PC the MMORPG is king, which makes FPS gamers sad. I have hopes for Natural Selection 2 when it comes out. I also look for Diablo 3, even though it's not a shooter. If 6 people have about bad company 2 for the PC I will get it too to play with you guys. Let me know. |

We complain that developers don't bother with the PC market...
Well since most pc games can be procured for free, i understand why the devs don't bother to waste the time and money to make games they you know will be eventually cracked. I know there's the argument of "just make better protection" but I'm pretty sure there is not one game out there for pc that hasn't been hacked.
In my game development class, we've been discussing how the effects of piracy have diminished the pc side of the industry. Giving pc gamers a console port is the best option for devs.
Games are shorter because the majority of the people that play games has shifted from kids to adults, and they don't have 40+ hours a week to spend on gaming (well most). |

Eh, I will continue to try games out before buying them. If I like it I buy it.
Gaming industry, like the music industry, uses pirates as excuses for such high costs. |

| Cryptic, you say you've spent $180 on games that weren't good, but, why should the companies care, they got you to buy them, that's all they wanted from you, just pay attention and make sure you only spend money on games that don't blow, nothing you can do to them will be more effective than just not buying bad games, hell don't even pirate them that just makes them think you would have bought it otherwise. They will keep making sub-par games until people stop buying them, which unfortunately, doesn't seem to be something that will happen any time in the near future. People are just too retarded to realize they're paving the way for their own demise. |

| Well, no, piracy is the entire cause of this to begin with, continuing it isn't going to change anything. |

Not really. Game prices are way too high. The same can be said for DvDs and CDs.
They have been since I can remember, which was when I was about 6(now 19). |
